You now have the ability to enter in transactions without adding them to your budget. To do so, simply do not select a category. You will no longer be prompted with an alert box to enter in a sub-category.
When entering your starting month, you now have the ability to select the starting year as well. This was causing problems when selecting 2, 3, or 6 recurring months. All current Budget items will default to a starting year of 2004.
We have added the ability for you to recieve an email when your Bill is due stating the amount of the Bill, the Bill name, and when it's due. *Note, your email will be sent the day your Bill is due. For earlier reminders, please update your Bill date. The email will be sent to the email address entered when registering for an account.
You now have the ability to save your bills by month or by week on a recurring basis. This will allow you to pay bills every other month, every third Friday, or anything you come up with. This will also be carried over to your Calendar and Budget when the bill is being created. * Please note, if you create a Bill on a weekly basis for a new Budget item, the monthly budget amount will be 4 x the amount of your weekly Bill.
We've added the ability to update your date when editing a previous transaction. To access, click the plus sign next to "My Budget" in the Menu Navigation and select "View Transactions". Then click on the Transaction you want to update. Thank you for the feedback.
We've replace our Help section with a How-To Guide. This will provide step-by-step walk-thru of the site as well as help questions you might have about the site. If you dont see an answer to one of your questions in there, please email us at service@budgettracker.com or post your message in the help section of the Messageboard. We will update this document as new products are integrated into the site.
We've added in a personal Stock Portfolio that will allow you to add shares, how much you paid, and when the transaction was made. It will then give you a total of how much its currently worth and much you've made off of each stock. Also included is a "What If" input box that allows you to see how much your Portfolio will be worth if any one stock hits a certain price. To access, click "Stock Portfolio" in the Menu Navigation.
